Chaudayyadanapura/Chaudadanapura (Kannada: ಚೌಡಯ್ಯದಾನಪುರ/ಚೌಡದಾನಪುರ) is a small village on the bank of River Tungabhadra in Ranebennur taluk of the Indian state of Karnataka. Earlier name of this place was Shivapura, this place got the new name after the 12th century saint, social reformer, Vishwa Guru Basaveshwara donated this place to Ambigara Chaudayya (a boatman).

Solang Valley which is 14 km northwest of Manali in Himachal PradeshIndia, has a very picturesque view of the snow capped Himalayan mountains & glaciers. It has a very good sporting activities both in summer & winter. In summer (May - Nov) horse riding, paragliding, zorbing (a giant ball with room for 2 people rolling down a 200 meter hill), trekking can be done. In winter the valley is fully covered by snow, so sports like skiing, snowboard, .. can be done. The winter & skii suite can be rented on the way to Solang Valley from Manali. Winter suit will cost around 300 Rs. & skii suit with a trainer will cost around 1k Rs.

Vishwabandhu Marulasidda (ವಿಶ್ವಬಂಧು ಮರುಳಸಿದ್ದ) is the founder of "Saddharma Peetha" (throne of righteousness) at Ujjaini. The main temple (Garbha gudi) is the Aikya Mantapa of his holiness Sri Marulasidda. He was a saint & social reformer of 12th century. He fought alongside Basavanna against religious exploitation & social inequalities perpetrated in the name of God & religion.

Shimoga/Shivamogga (Kannada: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ) being the heart of the Malnad region is a very beautiful place. Its the district head quarters of Shimoga District located in the central part of Karnataka. The beautiful landscaping, water falls, mountains, forests, rivers, ... make this district a hot tourist destination. Once being called as a pensioner's paradise now the city has become more commercialized. The name of the city is derived from Shiva Mukha meaning the Face of Lord Shiva.
